The Role:
We are looking for an experienced and strategic Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations in Christchurch. You will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing supplier relationships to ensure efficient and cost-effective procurement.
– Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs and supplier relationships.
– Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
– Ensure the procurement process aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
– Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
– Oversee inventory management and demand planning.
– Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
– Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies in the supply chain.
– Utilize procurement software and data analysis to drive decision-making.
Remuneration: $29.66 – $41.00 NZD per hour, depending on skills and experience.
Requirements:
– Work at least 30 hours per week.
– Minimum two years of relevant work experience, or a qualification (degree) in Marketing, Business, Supply chain, or a related field.
– Must have New Zealand residency or a valid work visa.
