Procurement Manager Role:
Remuneration: $30.00 – $76.00 NZD / per hour

We are seeking a proactive and creative Procurement Manager to join our team in Christchurch.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives.
• Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
• Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
• Ensure the procurement process aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
• Monitoring market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Analysing data regarding consumer patterns and preferences
• Oversee inventory management and demand planning.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies in the supply chain.
• Researching potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services and collecting and analysing data and other statistical information.
• Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements.
• Utilize procurement software and data analysis to drive decision-making.

All the above job requirements:

• Work at least 30 hours per week.
• Minimum two years of relevant work experience, or a qualification (degree) in a related field.
• Must have New Zealand citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa.
