Procurement Manager Role:
Remuneration: $30.00 – $76.00 NZD / per hour
We are seeking a proactive and creative Procurement Manager to join our team in Christchurch.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Planning, developing and organising advertising policies and campaigns to support sales objectives.
- Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing, storage and distribution strategies, policies and plans
- Manage supplier selection, negotiations, and contract management.
- Ensure the procurement process aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitoring and reviewing storage and inventory systems to meet supply requirements and control stock levels.
- Monitoring market trends and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Analysing data regarding consumer patterns and preferences
- Oversee inventory management and demand planning.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key vendors and stakeholders.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies in the supply chain.
- Researching potential demand and market characteristics for new goods and services and collecting and analysing data and other statistical information.
- Provision of products and services to meet customer or client requirements.
- Utilize procurement software and data analysis to drive decision-making.
All the above job requirements:
- Work at least 30 hours per week.
- Minimum two years of relevant work experience, or a qualification (degree) in a related field.
- Must have New Zealand citizenship, residency, or a valid work visa.
